Advantage and development of photovoltaic
The advantage of the installation of photovoltaic systems is evident in following cases:
1)location difficult to be reached by another electric system ( oasis, isolated villages, months, little islands)
2) domestic, commercial and industrial users, when is possible to use good incentives for installation or for production
Since the cost of production of photovoltaic energy is going to be lower during upcoming years and that of traditional sources is going to be higher, which is the convenience of privates, companies, public offices to install systems in this moment? The answer is very easy: in order to take an advantage of incentives in capital account and/ or for the production.
It’s possible to prove that with one or both incentives mentioned above, the cost of investment and/or of production is all wrote off and also more: you can earn money during the all functioning of the system.
Is it advantageous to wait the decrease of costs and/ or the discovery of new materials or technologies? The short- medium term waiting period isn’t advantageous because the incentive mechanisms since January 2011 are going to be redefined and since January 2009 are going to be decreased of 2% a year; but there is also a possibility that especially for new constructions there will be some laws that will obligate the usage of alternative sources of energy and in that case the incentives would be very improbable. The long term waiting isn’t also convenient because of always higher and higher prices of traditional energy.
